Energy Taiwan is jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and SEMI. The event will take place from October 16-18, 2019 at theNangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. The exhibition will feature four major energy themes, PV Taiwan, Wind Energy Taiwan, HFC Taiwan, and Smart Storage Taiwan. It is expected to attract more than 10,000 domestic and foreign buyers of related industries. Over 15 seminars will be organized during the exhibition. Energy Taiwan is the most important trading platform for renewable energy.
Green energy development has become a global trend. The Taiwanese Government is also actively investing in the development of renewable energy. This is evidenced by the launch of its Solar PV Two-Year Promotion Project, which has already surpassed its goal, having generated over 1.52GW of energy. Wind power is also a key green energy development in Taiwan. The Wind Energy Four-Year Promotion Project establishes on-land and offshore wind power installations. Offshore wind power generation is expected to increase to 5.5GW by 2025. The west coast of Taiwan has excellent conditions to develop wind fields and has attracted many foreign developers. The project expects to promote a large number of investment projects within Taiwan's wind power industry, strengthen local construction and industrial supply chain development, and create more job opportunities.
